We associate the word "meditation" to an image of stillness, an abstraction, the first idea that comes to everybody's mind are these ascetic figures, spiritual seekers that isolate from the world, closing their eyes ...
Indeed dance, physical movement, emotions and vibrant energy sensations help self-consciousness, they are an easy and joyful way for achieving the same result. Active Meditations lead naturally to listen to your inner self, to reconnect to the essence, through a cathartic way to release all tensions and psychophysical repression.
Osho is an Indian enlightened master, professor of philosophy at the University of Jabalpur. At the same time, he traveled throughout India for talks, challenging religious leaders of strict orthodoxy, questioning traditional beliefs, and meeting people from all life paths.
In the late 60s, Osho had begun to develop his unique techniques and created the OSHO Dynamic Meditation. The modern man, he says, is so overwhelmed by the traditions and the anxieties of contemporary life that must go through a deep cleaning process before being able to enter a state of meditation, totally relaxed and free of thoughts.
During his work, Osho has addressed virtually every aspect of development of human consciousness. From Sigmund Freud to Lao Tzu, from Gurdjieff to Gautama Buddha, Jesus and Rabindranath Tagore - Osho distilled the essence of what is really important to the spiritual aspirations of contemporary men.
His speeches in front of disciples and researches of truth, coming from all over the the world, have been published in more than 650 volumes and translated into over 40 languages. He also says. "My message is not a doctrine, not a philosophy. My message is a form of alchemy, a science of transformation, so that only those who are ready to die in its present condition and be reborn to a new dimension, that can not even imagine now ... only those few courageous people will be ready to listen to."

Osho left his body on January 19, 1990. Just a few weeks earlier, he was asked what would happen to his work when he was gone. "My trust in Existence is absolute. If there is any truth in what I have said, it will live. Those who are interested in my work will keep the flame alive."
